Telmo Rodriguez Compañia de Vinos, Spanje

Telmo is a visionary man who produces wines with a lot of expression.  Wines that are young drinkable, haven't had too much wood ripening. The characteristic feature of Telmo is that he opts for native grape varieties, which often grow in & nbsp; their own way (bushvine, not guided along wires) and are pruned in an indigenous way. Telmo likes to work with old sticks that get deeper roots and thus better to the water. Old sticks also give a lower yield which will improve the quality of the grapes and final wine. Although not formally certified, Telmo works organically. He doesn't use fertilizer, insecticide or pesticides. Telmo wants the origin of the grapes to be reflected in his wines.
