The vineyards can be found not far from Adelaide in McLaren Vale where a ridge and a cool sea breeze provide some   cooling. geoff has special ideas. he makes his wines not for the short but for the long term. He doesn't hesitate to lower his wood as long as the wines remain full-bodied fruit and freshness.It is also very remarkable that Geoff lets his wines drink before he brings them to the market.This is possible partly because of the fine acidity and a rich fruit structure. The Reserve Shiraz received the "Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy," the highest honor in Australia for a Shiraz.
