Cossart-Gordon, Madeira

About this selection

Cossart Gordon is the oldest house in Madeira, founded in 1745 by William Gordon and Francis Newton. In 1808, the Scot William Cossart joined. Now Cossart Gordon is part of the family business of the Madeira Wine Company that also owns Blandy. The style of Cossart Gordon is the most dry of all houses and they have a great refinement.
