Deze droge witte wijn is gemaakt van Sémillon, Alvarinho en Sauvignon Blanc uit de wijngaarden rond Azeitão. Een gedeelte van de wijn is vergist en gerijpt op Franse eikenhouten vaten. Droog en fruitig van smaak met o.a. iets van passievrucht en abrikoos naast herbale tonen van de Sauvignon.

Quinta da Bacalhôa is located near Azeitão on the Portuguese peninsula Setúbal. In the red wine of the estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot play a role, with ripening on French oak. The wine has a powerful, spicy taste with fruit.
