Voor deze wijn gebruikt men de Alvarinhodruiven van een wijngaard welke een schist (lijkt veel op leisteen). Dit geeft de wijn zijn geheel eigen smaak en karakter. In de geur en smaak mango, ananas en bloemen.
Vergelijk deze wijn eens met de Solos de Granito van hetzelfde huis, pas dan proef je wat de bodem (terroir) doet met een wijn.
