Tijdens de oogst van 2018 besloot men op Wijngoed Thorn om een deel van de Riesling druiven niet te plukken. Later in het jaar brak er een mooie droge en zonnige periode aan waardoor de druiven bovenverwachting goed rijpe werden.
Het resultaat is een halfzoete Riesling die perfect smaakt bij een appeltaart of andere desserts op basis van fruit.

Winery Thorn makes wine in Limburg. The semi-sweet Riesling in our selection came from the fact that part of the grapes stayed on the stick for longer in 2018. It shows that Dutch wine also has a sweeter, later harvested side.
