Deze rode wijn is een blend van 65% Syrah aangevuld met 32% Mourvèdre en 3% van de witte Druivensoort Viognier. De Viognier zorgt in deze wijn voor de zuren en draagt bij aan de geur van de wijn.

Boekenhouts gorge is a winery from Franschhoek in South Africa. In our selection, The Wolftrap also belongs to this house: a red blend with Syrah as the main grape variety, supplemented by Mourvèdre and Viognier. With this the house shows that a small proportion of white grapes can also play a role in a red wine.
