Deze rode wijn komt van oude stokken op een tuffeau bodem. Dit is een uniek type kalksteenbodem dat voornamelijk voorkomt in de Franse Loire-vallei. Het is een zachte, poreuze en zandige kalksteensoort die rijk is aan fossielen, kwarts en mica. Deze bodem staat bekend om haar uitstekende vochthuishouding en is wereldberoemd in de wijnbouw. De wijn heeft een complexe smaak en karakter, rijk in tannine en zuren wat hem zeer geschikt maakt om lang op te leggen om na enkele jaren zijn rijkdom prijs te geven.

Sébastien Wucher is a wine consultant who decided to also make wines on a small scale of the Cabernet Franc grape variety he loved. He makes wines in all kinds of styles, a white (Blanc de Noirs), rosé, sparkling and freshly fruity red to heavy, complex and wood mature.
