Melnik 55 is een vroegrijpend druivenras en een kloon van de breed gebladerde Melnik een inheems Bulgaars druivenras. De wijn heeft een vriendelijke houtrijping ondergaan en heeft iets van wilde bessen en bergkruiden in zijn geur en smaak.
