Deze 20016 Rioja Gran Reserva van Remelluri is nog donkerrood met alleen in de rand een lichte verkleuring en sporen van ouderdom. Deze wijn is gemaakt door Telmo Rodriguez, Hij heeft een smaakverandering ingezet bij dit wijnhuis. Deze Rioja is niet meer in de stijl zoals we bij veel Riojahuizen tegenkomen. De wijn heeft een krachtige smaak met nog voldoende zuren en tannine's om door te rijpen. Na 2009 is de stijl van de wijnen van Remelluri veranderd naar een meer fruitigere stijl waarbij het hout wat meer op de achtergrond is en meer ondersteunend.

The producer
Remelluri, Rioja
Telmo Rodriguez's father has built a great reputation with this Bodega. His two children, Telmo and Amaya, are now at the head of the bodega. The vineyards of Bodega Remelluri are located on the slopes of the Sierra de Tolono mountains and are thus among the highest in the region.
