Een droge witte Douro gemaakt van de druivenrassen Viozinho, Rabigato, Viosinho, Arinto en Códega. 2022 was een extreem droog jaar, met als gevolg minder suikers, dus ook minder alcohol, minder zuren maar daar in tegen veel meer concentratie. De vinificatie vind voor 90% plaats op roestvrijstalen vaten en 10% vergist op Franse en Oostenrijkse eikenhouten vaten. In de geur en smaak citrusvruchten, ananas, abrikoos, bergamot en iets van sinaasappel bloesem. Heerlijk bij gegrilde kabeljauw of gevogelte.

Ramos Pinto makes port in different styles. The Reserve Ruby in our selection gets a longer barrel ripening than a simple Ruby, while the fruity character is preserved. For example, the range is a good reason to compare the influence of style and ripening on port.
