Quinta do Romeu stamt uit 1874 en is al vijf generaties in handen van de familie Menéres. Deze rode Douro wijn is gemaakt van biologisch geteelde druiven. 75% Touriga Naciaonal, 15% Touriga Franca en 10% Sousão. De wijn is gemaakt door oenoloog Rui Cunha. De wijn heeft gerijpt op eikenhouten vaten en heeft een complexe, stevige smaak die nog enige rijping vraagt.

This Quinta dates from 1874 and has been in the Menéres family for 5 generations. Besides red wines, they also produce port, olive oil and cork. They work organically in their vineyards and all their wines are biocertified.
