Let op: jaargang op foto wijkt af. Op deze Quinta, tevens hotel-restaurant, maakt men alleen Vintage en Late Bottled Vintage port en in zeer kleine hoeveelheden en exceptioneel goede jaren een Colheita port (2003 en 2007). Eigenaar Karsten Sondergaard is liefhebber van een fruitige niet al te stevige Vintage port die ook jong al erg goed, maar vooral lekker te drinken is. Let op; afbeelding is van de jaargang 2007

The producer
Quinta do Pégo, port
Quint do Pédo is located 3 kilometers south of the village of Pinhão in a very nice place above the river Douro. The place and the vineyards surrounding it (all in the upper A-class) made Karsten Sondergaard decide to buy this winery in 2000. He created a beautiful hotel and managed to make the most of it in 2010 by being selected as the best hotel for international wine tourism.
