Bij de viering van 325 jaar Taylor's port introduceerde het wijnhuis een exclusieve serie Reserve Tawny ports in een historisch jasje. Het model fles "The Globe" kwam in het midden van de 17e eeuw veel voor. De fles werd met de mondgeblazen in plaats van in mallen gemaakt. In de kogelronde fles zit een zorgvuldiggeselecteerde blend van portwijnen uit de tawny-reserves van Taylor's. De port is rijp, complex en weelderig met geuren en smaken van koffie, butterscotch en gedroogd fruit zoals pruimen en rozijnen. Specerijen, hout, noten en florale tonen maken dit tot een unieke port.

The producer
Taylor's, port
Taylor's makes, among other things, matured Tawny and Vintage Port. At Tawny, ripening on wood ensures a softer, developed taste; Vintage subsequently matures on bottle. The ten-year-old Tawny has fruit and a pleasant sweet to taste and fits with cheese, nuts and dried fruits.
