In de Outer Limit Range zoekt Montes naar druiven van wijngaarden met een speciale ligging, terroir en microklimaat. Dit is een blend van 50% Carignan, 30% Grenache en 20% Mourvèdre. De druiven groeien in de Apalta wijngaard, een wijngaard die hoog ligt op een steile helling. De wijn heeft een mooie robijnrode kleur. In de geur zwarte bessen, vijgen en kaneel. De smaak is zacht en ronde met vanilletonen van de rijping op Franse eikenhouten vaten. een perfecte begeleider van wildgerechten of gegrild vlees.
