Let op: jaargang op foto wijkt af. De familie Abbona maakte kennis met de druivensoort Viognier in de Rhônestreek/Frankrijk. De wens om een soortgelijke wijn te maken bracht hun er toe om de druivensoort ook aan te planten in de Langhe. Het uiteindelijke resultaat is een prachtige, intens rijke wijn met een verfijnde geur en smaak. De wijn ids vergist en vervolgens 5 maanden gerijpt in vaten gemaakt van acaciahout.
