deze 2009 Verdelho is na 13 jaar rijping op vaten gebotteld in 2022. Deze botteling bestond uit 2600 genummerde flessen, per stuk verpakt in een cadeaudoos. De madeira is gemaakt volgens het Canteiro systeem en heeft een krachtige, rijke en ronde smaak met een licht zoet maar ook duidelijk aanwezige zuren.

The producer
Blandy's, Madeira
Blandy's is part of the Madeira Wine Company, a family business of the Blandy's family with among others the brands Blandy's, Cossart-Gordon, Leacock's and Miles. Since 1811 the family has been present in the trade and production of Madeira wines, Chris Blandy the current CEO is the seventh generation. In the heart of Funchal, the family has its wine lodge in an old seventeenth-century monastery.
