Voor wie Madeira wil ontdekken is dit de perfecte Madeira. Deze halfzoete tot zoete Madeira heeft een rijke, volle smaak met een weldadig zoet en een zeer aangename zuurbalans, De Madeira is gerijpt via het Canteiro systeem, d.w.z. op houten vaten. Waarbij de vaten beginnen op zolder bij hoge temperaturen en vervolgens verhuizen naar lager gelegen etage's waar het iets koeler is. Probeer deze Madeira is met gerijpte Friese Nagelkaas, een erg mooie combinatie.

The producer
Blandy's, Madeira
Blandy's is part of the Madeira Wine Company, a family business of the Blandy's family with among others the brands Blandy's, Cossart-Gordon, Leacock's and Miles. Since 1811 the family has been present in the trade and production of Madeira wines, Chris Blandy the current CEO is the seventh generation. In the heart of Funchal, the family has its wine lodge in an old seventeenth-century monastery.
