Deze Malmsey is een selectie van de beste vaten uit het jaar 2010. De Madeira heeft gerijpt volgens het natuurlijke "Canteiro" proces. Hierbij rijpen de wijnen eerst op de bovenste etage van de lodge onder hoge temperatuur om vervolgens naar een lager gelegen en koelere etage gaan om door te rijpen. In 2023 volgde de botteling, van deze madeira zijn 2933 flessen gebotteld. Deze Madeira is klaar om te drinken maar kan zeker nog vele jaren doorrijpen op fles. Het is een rijke,zoete en complexe Madeira.

The producer
Blandy's, Madeira
Blandy's is part of the Madeira Wine Company, a family business of the Blandy's family with among others the brands Blandy's, Cossart-Gordon, Leacock's and Miles. Since 1811 the family has been present in the trade and production of Madeira wines, Chris Blandy the current CEO is the seventh generation. In the heart of Funchal, the family has its wine lodge in an old seventeenth-century monastery.
