In 2024 zijn van deze Madeira 2933 flessen gebotteld. De Madeira is amberkleurig met een gouden gloed. In de intense neus iets van gedroogd en gekarameliseerd fruit, zoals vijg, dadel en walnoot. mooie uitgebalanceerde smaak, half zoet met een goed zuur. Iets van biscuit en roomboterkoekjes. De Madeira blijft lang nahangen.

The producer
Blandy's, Madeira
Blandy's is part of the Madeira Wine Company, a family business of the Blandy's family with among others the brands Blandy's, Cossart-Gordon, Leacock's and Miles. Since 1811 the family has been present in the trade and production of Madeira wines, Chris Blandy the current CEO is the seventh generation. In the heart of Funchal, the family has its wine lodge in an old seventeenth-century monastery.
