De wijngaarden van Kaesler liggen rondom het dorp Nuriootpa in de Barossa Valley en zijn aangeplant vanaf 1893. Na een lange periode werkzaam te zijn geweest in Frankrijk en Zuid-Afrika keerde de succesvolle wijnmaker Reid Bosward in 1999 terug naar Barossa om daar met een aantal partners Kaesler over te nemen. De wijn is dit jaar een blend van de druivenrassen Grenache (75%) en Mourvèdre (25%). Aantrekkelijke neus met aroma's van zwart fruit (bramen, kersen) en complexe kruidige tonen (peper, laurier). De wijn heeft een elegant karakter met aanwezige, maar rijpe tannines, elegante body en een complexe afdronk.
