Een karaktervol glas wijn. Het is een blend van 50% Malbec, 23% Zinfandel, 11% Petite Sirah, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot en 2% Mourvèdre. De Malbec moet er voor zorgen dat de wijn zachter en toegankelijker wordt van daar de naam leeuwentemmer.

Mount Veeder in Napa Valley is the place of Donald Hess. The beautiful wine scene inspired him to combine his two great passions, wine making and art collection. His wines have the distinctive California character, but are just a bit more elegant than most other wines.
