De wijngaarden liggen aan de kust op zo'n 5 kilometer van de Atlantische Oceaan en dat zorgt voor een verkoelende wind voor de druiven. Dat briesje proef je terug in deze verkwikkende Sauvignon. In geur en smaak iets van citrusfruit, kruisbessen en gras. Perfect als aperitief, bij salades of lichte visgerechten.

Water Gorge Estate, In 2004 this beautiful wine estate was purchased by Paul Boutinot. Water gorge is located on the Schaapenberg in Somerset West, Stellenbosch, only three kilometers away from the ocean. The vineyards for the Water Gorge wines are located on the upper slopes of this domain, 300 meters above sea level.
