Tijdens een proeverij waarbij de jaargang 2016 werd voorgesteld door de familie Symington en alle estates te proeven waren ( o.a. Graham's, Warre, Cockburn's, Quinta de Roriz en Quinta do Vesuvio ) kwam deze Dow's Vintage port 2016 er voor mij als een van de beste uit met een geweldig bewaarpotentieel. Een dijk van een Vintage.

For more than two centuries the name Dow's has been mentioned when it comes to making port wines of the highest quality. The vineyards of Dow's are all in prime locations in the Upper Douro. Since the 20th century, the Symington family has taken a prominent place in this house.
