2022 was een uitdagend jaar voor de familie Symington. De drie maanden voor de oogst waren de warmste maanden ooit gemeten in de Dourovallei. De druiven waren kleiner dan normaal het geval is, maar leverden een zeer geconcentreerde port op. met voldoende body en fruit.

For more than two centuries the name Dow's has been mentioned when it comes to making port wines of the highest quality. The vineyards of Dow's are all in prime locations in the Upper Douro. Since the 20th century, the Symington family has taken a prominent place in this house.
