Een kleine Corton Charlemagne.
Le Rognet is een Monopole, dat wil zeggen dat deze wijngaard volledig in handen is van Domaine d’Ardhuy. De bodem bestaat hier uit kalkrijke mergel en is vergelijkbaar met de bodem in de buurappellatie Corton Charlemagne. De wijngaarden liggen op zo’n 340 meter hoogte en zijn zuidoostelijk georiënteerd.
Een prachtig complexe wijn, vol en rijp met aroma’s van wit en exotisch fruit en bloemige tonen in de geur. Complex en rijk vaan smaak, met een mooie verfijning en elegantie. Mede door de vergelijkbare bodem heeft veel weg van wijnen uit de buurappellatie Corton Charlemagne.
