Sinds 2001 is het huis Croft in bezit Van Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman. Zij bezitten ook de tophuizen Taylor's en Fonseca. Sinds de overname is er veel geïnvesteerd in kelders wijngaarden en nieuwe aanplant. De kwaliteit van de portwijnen van Croft is dan ook significant gestegen maar de prijzen gelukkig nog niet. Deze Tawny port heeft langer op vaten gerijpt dan noodzakelijk. Dit zorgt voor een nog fijnere en complexere smaak. Een heerlijke Tawny voor op de avond of bij een kaasplateau.

Croft makes Vintage Port and port of Quinta da Roêda. Ripe fruit, spicyness and a full-bodied taste are part of the wines of the house. The style clearly differs from that of other port houses.
