In 2006 nam de Symington Family het huis Cockburn's over. In 2007 produceerde zij hier voor het eerst een Vintage Port, later volgde 2011 en 2015. De laatste Vintage port die Cockburn's uit bracht was deze 2016. De 2016 wordt gezien als de mooiste en beste Vintage onder de familie Symington. 2016 als jaar is zonder meer één van de beste jaren in de 21e eeuw. de druiven voor deze Vintage port komen van Quinta dos Canais, Quinta do Vale Coelho en Quinta do Cachão do Arnozelo.
