Château de la Gardine, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Rhône

 The winery has been in the possession of the Brunel family for generations. The worldwide reputation of Château de la Gardine is based on the terroir-typed Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines. These score high points at the international wine press. The vineyards have a complex soil composition and consist of glacier boulders and lime layers. Old vines and traditional viticulture techniques together with a strict selection of the harvested grapes ensure concentrated terroirs. The family invested a few years ago in the purchase of several attractively situated vineyards in the northern and southern Rhône. These wines come on the market under the name Brunel de la Gardine.
