Jarenlang een zwakke broeder in de classificatie van 1855, maar de laatste jaren op de weg terug. Er is echte veel veranderd en met de 2020 is er een echt goede wijn op de markt gebracht met veel rood fruit (cassis/braam) en een zachte ondertoon van het hout. De wijn heeft behoorlijke tannine's maar het geheel is elegant. De wijn rijpt gedurende 18 maanden op eikenhouten vaten waarvan 50% nieuw.
