Elegante Médoc met voldoende zuren en tannine's om nog even door te rijpen. Château d'Escurac was in 1996 winnaar van de Coupe des Crus Bourgeois.
Een wedstrijd waarin de beste Cru Bourgeois wordt gekozen. 2015 was voor rode Bordeaux een zeer goed jaar.
