Deze Madeira van Blandy's is gemaakt van de zeldzame Terrantez-druif uit het oogstjaar 1977. De wijn heeft lang gerijpt op gebruikte Amerikaanse eikenhouten vaten volgens het canteiro-systeem. Een rijke stijl met gedroogde citrusvruchten, een aangename zoetheid en duidelijk aanwezige frisse zuren. Een bijzondere Madeira om rustig van een klein glas te genieten.

The producer
Blandy's, Madeira
Blandy's is part of the Madeira Wine Company, a family business of the Blandy's family with among others the brands Blandy's, Cossart-Gordon, Leacock's and Miles. Since 1811 the family has been present in the trade and production of Madeira wines, Chris Blandy the current CEO is the seventh generation. In the heart of Funchal, the family has its wine lodge in an old seventeenth-century monastery.
