Deze krachtige rode wijn is gemaakt van de druivensoort Syrah. De druiven groeien in de Apalta wijngaard in de Colchagua Valley. De omstandigheden in deze apalta wijngaard zijn te vergelijken de noordelijke Rhône. Op de steile hellingen profiteren de druivenstokken ten volle van hun goede ligging. De wijn rijpt gedurende 18 maanden op Franse eikenhouten vaten.
