 Rietvallei is a real family business that has been owned by the Burger family for 7 generations since 1864. The estate is one of the few in South Africa that has owned one family for over 150 years. It is also one of the oldest wineries in Robertson. Nowadays Kobus Burger is the owner and winemaker. Besides white and red wines, Rietvallei is best known for its "Red Muscadel" a delicious red dessert wine.
